Winter has sunk its teeth into us here in the mid-west making the nights long and cold, and while I do enjoy
a little break from all the rose work, I can indulge in some relaxation!
A couple quotes from Albert Schweitzer:
“There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats.”
While he excluded roses ( I’ll forgive him for that)
I’m a big fan of both, a jazz affectionado, and singer, and I do enjoy my kitty’s.
If you would like something new to your ears, give Stacey Kent a listen. I love her voice, her
husband Jim Thomlinson’s great sax playing and her swinging band!

Strawberry Ice - A lovely Floribunda Oct 25, 2007

For the first time, I’m offering a small number of Strawberry Ice, a lovely Pink/white Fl. This rose is VERY diesease resistant, Foliage that is Holly-Like with very thick leathery leaves that make the sprays of 5-6 blooms seem to jump out at you. I don’t belive its available anywhere else in the US. Photo on the site really does not do it justice!
